The role
We’re looking for a Senior Salesforce Business Analyst / Functional Consultant who can :
- Lead discovery and requirements for complex Salesforce initiatives
- Shape clear, pragmatic solutions on the Salesforce platform
- Get hands-on with configuration where needed
- Guide delivery and bring stakeholders along the journey
You’ll work across Sales, Service, and Field Service, with opportunities to support new focus areas such as
Revenue Cloud, Data Cloud, and AI / Agent-based experiences .
You’ll often be the person in the middle – connecting business, technology, and delivery.
What you’ll be doing
Discovery, analysis & design
Lead discovery workshops, stakeholder interviews, and process walkthroughs.Analyse current-state processes and pain points; define clear future-state process maps.Translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and simple solution designs.Shape Salesforce solutions across Sales, Service, Field Service and Experience Cloud (and where appropriate Revenue Cloud and Data Cloud).Present options and recommendations that balance value, complexity, and cost.Functional consulting & configuration
Configure Salesforce : objects, fields, record types, page layouts, flows, automation, validation rules, reports and dashboards.Work closely with technical specialists on integrations, data, and AI-related features.Support data design and migration activities (requirements, mapping, validation).Define and execute functional test plans; support UAT and go-live readiness.Engagement and delivery leadership
Act as day-to-day functional lead for one or more client engagements.Help manage scope, risks, assumptions, and issues, escalating early where needed.Provide clear written and verbal communication to business and technical stakeholders.Ensure we stay focused on business outcomes, not just feature delivery.Pre-sales, practice development & thought leadership
Contribute to proposals, estimates, scopes and statements of work.Support or lead client demos and pre-sales conversations.Help improve our methods, templates, and accelerators (especially around discovery, requirements, and governance).Share insight and learning on topics like Field Service, Revenue Cloud, Data Cloud, and AI (internal sessions, blogs, or client material).Coaching & mentoring
Coach junior and mid-level consultants and BAs.Review user stories, solution designs, and configurations for quality and consistency.Encourage good habits around documentation, testing, and change control.About you
You don’t need to tick every box, but you should recognise yourself in most of these :
5+ years working with Salesforce in a business-facing BA or consulting role.Strong experience with Sales Cloud and / or Service Cloud ; Field Service and Experience Cloud are a strong plus.Confident leading workshops and engaging with senior stakeholders (Sales, Service, Operations, IT).Comfortable doing both :
Business analysis (requirements, process mapping, solution options), andHands-on platform configuration (especially Flows and automation ).Able to document clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and simple solution diagrams.Experience with governance and good Salesforce hygiene (environments, change control, security, permission sets, profiles, roles / sharing).Curious about Revenue Cloud, Data Cloud, and AI / Agent experiences , even if you’re not an expert yet.Happy in a smaller consultancy where you may occasionally step into project management, pre-sales, or product owner style duties.Strong communication skills – you can explain Salesforce concepts in plain language and push back constructively when needed.Nice to have
Experience in sectors such as energy, utilities, telco, retail & consumer goods, healthcare, or NFP .Exposure to Data Cloud, Tableau, or other BI tools .Experience with Revenue Cloud (CPQ / Billing) or other lead-to-cash / subscription / usage-based models.Prior consulting experience in a boutique or mid-tier firm.Salesforce certifications (e.g. Admin, Business Analyst, App Builder, Sales, Service, Field Service), with a willingness to maintain and grow them.What we offer
