We’re seeking a visionary Energy Markets Lead to drive market strategy and analysis, PPA offtake origination, and establish and lead our energy trading function. This is your opportunity to influence Australia’s renewable energy landscape and lead a team that thrives on innovation and collaboration.

What you’ll do:

• Set up and lead a small, high-performing team.
• Analyse Australian electricity market trends and identify strategic business opportunities.
• Develop short, medium, and long-term electricity price and revenue forecasts.
• Design and negotiate PPA offtakes for solar and battery projects.
• Establish and manage Gentari’s energy trading function.
• Build strong partnerships with industry, government, and stakeholders.

What we’re looking for:

• 10+ years’ experience in energy markets, trading, or renewable energy origination.
• Seasoned leadership and team building skills.
• Deep understanding of Australian electricity markets, policy and regulatory frameworks.
• Expertise in market modelling, risk management, and PPA offtake product structures.
• Proven experience in energy trading and portfolio management.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
