This Opportunity
Reporting to the OT Systems Manager, this role will support the deployment, maintenance, and reliability of all ICT and OT infrastructure critical to offshore subsea and remote operations. Your day‑to‑day may include :
Provide technical support for vessel‑based ICT and OT systems, including workstations, servers, networks, and communications hardware, across offshore and onshore operations.Prepare, configure, and deploy ICT and OT equipment for subsea projects and vessels, ensuring compatibility with hardware and software standards.Support field personnel during mobilisations and operations.Maintain and support Windows‑based systems, virtual environments, local domain setups, and file servers used offshore.Assist in the setup, testing, and support of satellite communication links, including satellite systems, 4G / 5G, mesh networking, and failover systems.Enable remote access, control, and data exchange between offshore vessels and the Remote Operations Centres.Troubleshoot and resolve ICT and OT issues during operations, maintain inventory, configuration records, and user documentation, and liaise with vendors and internal teams as required.Lead OT integration and compliance with ICT policies, apply and uphold cybersecurity, system patching, and access control standards, and provide ICT support to research and development initiatives within the Subsea business.Qualifications
Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field.Experience
Minimum 3+ years’ experience in ICT support, preferably in field‑based or offshore project environments.Strong experience with Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS / DHCP, and virtualisation platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper‑V).Familiarity with satellite and terrestrial communication systems and associated hardware, such as routers, firewalls, and switches.Working knowledge of networking (TCP / IP, VPNs, VLANs, SDWAN, network diagnostics).Excellent problem‑solving, prioritisation, and communication skills.Preparedness to travel offshore to project sites as required (must meet certification and medical requirements).How to apply
