Electrical Design Engineer

About the Role

We are looking to employ multiple Electrical Design Engineers in full-time permanent roles.

This role is based in our Stapylton, QLD office with a hybrid work environment and regular travel requirements across QLD.

You will have access to a 4WD company pool car for travel.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the design of Telepower systems such as solar and hybrid-solar.

Support the design and construction team to manage end-to-end projects, including forecasting of materials, detailed quotes and engineering solutions for specific programs of work.

Consult with construction crews and supervisors to optimise design outcomes and improve processes.

Liaise with suppliers regarding products, specifications and delivery schedules and with clients to meet desired design and project outcomes.

About You

Strong understanding of electrical theory.

Background as an electrical technician, recent electrical graduate or seasoned engineer.

Self-motivated with eagerness to learn.

Strong attention to detail, organisation and time-management skills.

Practical experience in field technician roles or exposure to telecommunications, maintenance or construction industries.

Proficient in Excel, Access and the Microsoft Office Suite.

Knowledge of ISO

• , OH&S legislation / guidelines and environmental legislation / licensing.

Current driver's licence and ability to work away from home when required.

Ability to develop technically fit-for-purpose solar and battery designs for the commercial market; basic understanding of LV / HV AC electrical systems highly desirable.
