We are seeking a talented and dedicated Mechanical Fitter to join our team in Mackay on a 7 / 7 day shift roster

Multiple opportunities have arisen for either Mechanical Fitter or Diesel Fitters to join the Komatsu team based in Mackay working 7 days on / 7 days off - dayshift. The Mechanical Fitter will complete repair and overhaul of Komatsu machinery that complies with our optimum quality standard on a large range of machines including utility, construction, and mining equipment.

This will include overhauling of large components of machinery whilst ensuring compliance with SWP installation guides and our customer’s requirements.

Roster :  7 / 7 Day Shift Roster

What we are looking for :

• Mechanical fitter / heavy vehicle trade qualifications – 3+ years trades exp
• Prior experience and exposure to workshop overhauls and mining machinery
• Experience working within OEM is desirable
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety procedures
• Doggers and Forklift licence preferred
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and strong organisation skills
