About the Service
ECTARC Alunga is a 44-place service providing early childhood education and care for children from birth to school age in Albion Park Rail.
The service practices the Circle of Security relationships model to develop partnerships with children and families based on mutual trust and respect. They are committed to quality outcomes for children and advocate for learning through play in an environment where they feel safe, valued and included.
ECTARC Alunga is an active participant in the Enriching Language through Practice project, a funded program through Communities for Children Shellharbour.
About the Role
ECTARC Alunga is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic trainee who is looking to start their career in early childhood education. During the 12-month traineeship, you will gain valuable knowledge and experience whilst working and studying alongside our qualified and supportive educators to complete your Certificate III in Early Education and Care.
ECTARC is also a registered training organisation. We have Training and Development Officers who support you to gain the skills and experience you’ll need to work at your very best in our service.
Once you complete your Certificate III qualification, we can provide you with real job opportunities in the future.

A bonus of $1250.00 paid to you every six months throughout your traineeship.
Three hours of paid study time off the floor each week.
Mentoring and support from a dedicated Educator in your team and trainee study groups with an experienced Early Childhood Coordinator.
