Job descriptionBe trade qualified and / or have a minimum of three (3) years of work experience. Hold a White card. Have own tools. Have a Drivers License and own appropriate work vehicle . Be well presented, punctual and have good communication skills. Be able to work in team environments and on their own when required.
AFC Projects is construction company building homes in residential and commercial.
We are currently seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team at Meadowbrook in Queensland. As a Carpenter, your everyday responsibilities include :
- Read and interpret working drawings to determine materials required, dimensions and installation procedures.
- Construct, install, renovate and repair structures.
- Cut, assemble and install required materials on site.
- Erect timber framework, roof framing, install subfloors and verifying trueness of structures.
- Nailing fascia panels, fitting exterior wall cladding and door and window frames.
- Measuring and installing skirting, architraves and sills.
- May repair existing fittings.
- May work with plastic laminates, perspex and metals.
- Have a positive attitude, willingness to learn and help supervise apprentices.
- Be able to provide our clients with excellent communication skills and customer service.

This is a full-time position offering a generous salary between $75,000 – $90, 000 plus superannuation to the right candidate (depending on experience).
