Open Spaces Maintenance Workers required

We are currently seeking two experienced and reliable Open Space Maintenance Workers to join a local government team on a temporary basis. These roles are ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and contributing to the upkeep of public spaces.

Key Details

Location : Shelford or Bannockburn Depot

Employment Type : Full‑Time, Temporary starting asap (until end of January) potential for extension

Pay Rate : $42.93 / hour + Super

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve open space assets to industry standards.
• Support environmental reserve activities including flora and fauna management.
• Operate plant and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Conduct site safety analysis and ensure compliance with OHS and traffic management standards.
• Assist with parks, recreation, and environmental maintenance tasks.
• Engage positively with the community and represent organisational values.
• Perform daily maintenance checks on equipment and ensure readiness for next‑day operations.
