Due to continuous growth, we have a new opportunity for a highly driven Business Systems Developer to join our Business Improvement Team in our Perth Office. This role is responsible for developing and implementing process improvement solutions across our Mining & Minerals division. Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain applications, workflows, and system integrations to support business operations
• Analyse existing systems and workflows to identify performance gaps, inefficiencies, and automation opportunities
• Design and implement scalable, maintainable solutions using modern development tools and frameworks
• Test, deploy, and support systems in production, including resolving day-to-day technical issues
• Collaborate with users and technical teams to refine requirements and improve system usability
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements aligned with business needs
• Work directly with clients at times to clarify requirements, validate assumptions, and ensure delivered solutions meet real-world needs

What you’ll bring:

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a similar or equivalent role with proven experience delivering business process improvements with measurable benefits
• Development experience in PL/SQL and low-code platforms (e.g. Power Apps, OutSystems) and programming experience in C#, JavaScript, Python and Excel VBA
• Power BI and Paginated Report development and management experience, including strong use of DAX for calculations, modelling and debugging
• Proven ETL experience using Power Query (M), integrating data from a range of sources such as SQL, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, Dataverse and flat files
• Experience designing and maintaining data models using enterprise data from multiple applications to support accurate reporting and analytics
• Experience working with Microsoft Dataverse, including Dataverse tables, relationships and views. Creating / modifying tables using power apps or dynamics 365 and integrating Dataverse with power automate or power BI preferred, but not mandatory
• Exposure to Dynamics 365, including understanding Dataverse data, basic customisation and support of business processes. Azure familiarity (data, integration, or app services) preferred, but not mandatory
• Experience or awareness of Power Platform environment management, including user access, solution deployment, performance and governance preferred, but not mandatory
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an innovative mindset and ability to adapt to change
• Highly motivated and eager to learn, with strong communication, interpersonal, coaching and stakeholder engagement skill
• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Business Management or Project Management preferred, but not mandatory
