We’re looking for a learner-focused Instructional Designer to design, develop, and improve engaging learning experiences across digital platforms. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys transforming complex information into clear, effective, and engaging learning solutions in a remote-first environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop instructional materials such as online courses, training modules, and learning resources.
- Apply instructional design models (e.g. ADDIE) and adult learning principles.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather and structure content.
- Create storyboards, scripts, and learning objectives aligned with business goals.
- Design assessments, quizzes, and evaluations to measure learning outcomes.
- Review and improve existing learning content based on feedback and data.
- Ensure accessibility, usability, and learner engagement best practices.
- 1–4 years of experience in instructional design, learning design, or training roles.
- Strong understanding of instructional design methodologies and learning theory.
- Experience creating digital learning content (eLearning, virtual training, blended learning).
- Familiarity with authoring tools ( Articulate 360, Rise, Storyline, Adobe Captivate , or similar) is a plus.
- Excellent written communication and content structuring skills in English .
- Strong attention to detail and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment.
- Based in Australia with the legal right to work full-time.
