Our client is a National Branding Technology and Signage company with a rich heritage of producing architectural signage and corporate identities for a large number of Australia's best know retail and commercial brands.

The Position -

Due to an impending retirement our client is looking for a General Manager to take over the day-to-day management of the company, reporting directly into the business owner. Working with the current Interim GM, in a hand-over capacity initially and then taking on the role fully after the probation period.

On a daily basis you will be managing the full P&L of the business and have the Business Development team, Account Management team, Operations team and Project Management / Delivery team reporting directly to you.

This role is predominantly office based on the Sunshine Coast, QLD with regular travel to customer sites and head-offices all over Australia. With installations and fit outs happening all around the clock this role suits someone that can be able to manage a client base even if it is outside of normal office hours.

The Package -

For the successful candidate, the package on offer would be :

  • Salary - $150,000 pa - $160,000 pa + Super
  • Car Allowance $20,000 - $25,000
  • Tools of the Trade - Laptop and Company Phone
  • Company Bonuses based on P&L
  • Package fully negotiable for the right candidate

The Candidate -

To be successful in this role you would require experience in managing C-level retail or commercial accounts, from an external contractor relationship. Experience with shop fit outs, signage, project management and corporate branding would also be looked at favourably.

Other attributes that would be necessary are :

  • Good communication skills
  • High level of computer literacy
  • History of working in Fit Out, Signage, Digital Display or Corporate Branding
  • Demonstrated experience of managing a multi-million-dollar business
  • Excellent man-management traits
  • Proximity to the Sunshine Coast
