  • About the Opportunity
  • We have a great opportunity for an Employee Relations Adviser to join our vibrant, supportive and professional Employee Relations Advice Centre team (ERAC). Our ERAC is primarily responsible for providing high quality, accurate, practical, and customised employee relations advice to CCIWA members on all manners of ER / HR issues, over the phone.

    As an Employee Relations Adviser, you can expect to interpret awards and agreements, research technical matters, undertake award allocations, draft articles and other materials, review ER publications and undertake ER work in collaboration with our Human Resources & Workplace Relations division.

  • About You
  • To succeed in this role, you will be a patient, positive and organised individual who has the ability to provide relevant and accurate ER and HR advice to CCIWA Members. In addition, you may be a seasoned HR / IR professional or someone with a genuine interest in developing or furthering your IR technical skills.

    To be considered for this role, you will possess :

  • Tertiary qualification in HR / IR / ER or law (essential).
  • Proven experience in a HR / ER / IR role providing advice on a range of matters.
  • Experience in customer service is desirable.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven analytical and research skills with a strong desire to keep up to date with the latest legislation.
  • The ability to empathise with members' individual situations.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team.
