This opportunity

Reporting to the Procurement Operations and Excellence Manager within the Procurement Operations Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks aimed at optimizing our procurement processes, ensuring compliance, and enhancing supplier relationships. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will be critical in supporting our operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Reports and Spend Analysis : Generate and analyse procurement reports, identifying risks, cost-saving opportunities and trends. Provide ad hoc reports and analysis to support the Procurement Team's decision-making.
  • Create and Maintain Procurement Dashboards : Develop and update visual dashboards to provide real-time insights into procurement performance.
  • Supplier Management : Assist in vendor on / off-boarding, contract creation, due diligence, and ongoing maintenance of vendor master data.
  • Procurement Inbox Triage : Manage and prioritize incoming communications and inquiries related to procurement.
  • Day-to-Day Strategy , Policy, and Process Initiatives : Support ongoing procurement initiatives and assist in policy and process development.
  • Managing Audit Issues : Collaborate with internal and external auditors to address procurement-related audit matters.
  • Vendor Compliance & Risk Mitigation : Ensure vendor compliance with contracts and the third-party risk management framework and engage in risk mitigation activities.
  • Process Optimization : Continuously seek opportunities to streamline and improve procurement processes.

Knowledge and experience

  • Commercial Degree qualified or equivalent, and Telecommunications experience is desirable.
  • Proven experience in procurement analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and Excel
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of procurement processes, policies and procedures is desirable.
  • Basic understanding of commercial contract terms and structures will be well regarded.
