About This Role
Join SunRice’s Investor Relations and Corporate Development team and help shape our global growth strategy. This is an exceptional opportunity for a driven professional to contribute to high-impact mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and investor relations (IR) initiatives within an ASX-listed food business with a global presence. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in shaping strategic decisions that influence the company’s growth trajectory while engaging with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
This position can be based in our Chadstone (Melbourne) office, or our Sydney CBD office.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare Investor Materials : Create engaging investor presentations, assist with reporting, and analyse share registry data to support stakeholder communication.
- Drive M&A Execution : Contribute to evaluating strategic, commercial, and valuation aspects of potential transactions and assist in due diligence processes.
- Assess Growth Opportunities : Analyse qualitative and quantitative attributes of potential acquisition targets to inform strategic decisions.
- Research Markets & Competitors : Identify trends and opportunities aligned with SunRice’s growth objectives through detailed market analysis.
- Monitor Capital Markets : Track equity and debt markets, analyse trading multiples, and support capital market initiatives.
- Develop Board & Executive Materials : Prepare investment papers and strategic presentations for senior leadership.
- Support Strategic Planning : Contribute to initiatives that advance SunRice’s 2030 Strategic Plan.
What We’re Looking For
Experience : Have 5-8 years’ experience within a similar role from within a corporate or a professional services environment with an exposure to some FMCG is a must.Education : Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Economics, or related disciplines. Completion or progress toward CPA or CA is advantageous.Skills :
Strong understanding of investor relations requirements and best practices.Solid knowledge of M&A processes, valuation principles, and transaction execution.Ability to synthesize complex insights into clear, compelling reports and presentations for senior stakeholders.Attributes :
