We are seeking security focused individuals with high attention to detail who have an interest in pursuing a career in the Aviation and Transport Sector. Due to recent changes in legislation, ISS is excited to offer a new pathway to being becoming a Freight Aviation Protection Officer across multiple sites in Adelaide on a Casual basis.

About The Position

You will be

• Efficiently operate screening equipment to ensure the security of cargo and assets
• Keep things moving smoothly by managing the flow of goods and services through our facilities
• Follow process control documentation, including safe work method statements and work instructions, to maintain a secure and compliant environment

About the Certificate II Transport Security Protection (Cargo) (TSP)

Aviation security is an important industry, to meet new and emerging threat levels, specific theoretical knowledge has been passed through Parliament as a requirement for all Aviation Screeners.

As the Employer AND Training Provider,we are in a unique position to guide and support you through the Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (Cargo) and 40 hours paid On-the-Job Training required for all Aviation Screeners preparing you for your new role as a Freight Aviation Protection Officer, with our Registered Training Organisation.

This nationally recognised qualification is offered at the cost of $1000 (normally valued at $2000). This includes approximately 25 hours online learning plus5 days of paidpractical training delivered within our airport operations as well as access to webinars and online support while you gain your qualification.
