The Senior Landscape Architect Role

JMDd is seeking a creative, enthusiastic Senior Landscape Architect with 7+ yrs postgraduate experience in the industry to join our practice on a permanent basis, starting from September 2023.

Note this is a full-time, in office role.

We value those with strong design and excellent graphics capabilities, proven organisational and communication skills with confidence in presenting amongst informal settings. The applicant should have good technical knowledge, exposure to managing project and multi-disciplinary teams and client relationships, along with contract administration skills.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office is essential with Vectorworks, and or 3D programs desirable.

The role will entail concept, design development, documentation and contract administration of a wide range of landscape projects. You will also be responsible for supervising junior staff, undertake day to day management of projects and work closely with the practice directors. Our open plan studio in Redfern provides a supportive and collaborative working environment with a strong company culture that fosters professional development through formal and informal means.
