We are currently hiring for multiple Disability Support Workers to cater to the needs of our clients in NDIS and Aged Care Industry. To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need to possess the following qualifications and experience :

Certificate III or above in Individual Support (Disability or Aged Care)

National Police Check Clearance

Working with Children Check (Known as Blue Card)

NDIS Worker Clearance Certificate or Yellow Card

Experience in working with people with challenging behaviours.

Experience in safe handling of food

Experience in safe use of Medication

Certificate of NDIS Orientation Module

COVID-19 Vaccine Certificate (Fully vaccinated)

2 x References

Current QLD Drivers License

Key Responsibilities

Follow individual support plans, behaviour support plans, and health care plans.

Participate in community activities within a Supported Independent Living environment.

Maintain and monitor a clients support plan whilst modelling a person-centred approach.

Identify and support a range of learning opportunities for our clients.

Observe and document an individuals progress and any changes through detailed note-keeping.

Due to the support needs of our clients, you must be available and willing to work a varied pattern of shifts across a regular 24 / 7 roster (including short shifts, night shifts, weekends, and public holidays) to be considered for these roles.
