About the Service

ECTARC Sanctuary Point is a 40-place service providing early childhood education and care for children from birth to school age in Sanctuary Point on the shores of St. Georges Basin. We are only a short drive from Jervis Bay and the coastal villages of Huskisson and Vincentia and are ideally located within walking distance of many local facilities such as shops, library, a bike park and Sanctuary Point Public School.

About the Role

ECTARC Sanctuary Point is seeking an educator with a Certificate III qualification to work as part of a passionate and capable team who are committed to enriching the futures of young children. As an Early Childhood Worker, you will support educators to implement the program for children 0 to 5 years.

Originally known as Illawarra Area Child Care (IACC) our organisation was incorporated in October 1985 and have a proud history of providing optimum education and training services.

ECTARC is proudly a not-for-profit organisation, that successfully manages education and care services in the Illawarra and Shoalhaven. Our specialist early childhood knowledge, extensive experience and commitment to early education and care for children is why we are a respected leader in the sector. Qualifications

  • Must have Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent
  • A Working with Children Check clearance number (or be willing to obtain
  • Commitment to working as a team
  • Knowledge of current early childhood theories and practice & children’s services legislation
  • 12 months experience working in children’s services
  • Current approved first aid qualification for early education and care – HLTAID012
