As a result of expanding scope of works, we are currently seeking a Defence Fuel Installation Operator (DFI Operator) to join the team at Darwin RAAF Base, NT.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to work within a team of defence personnel while enjoying the benefits of working with a Tier 1 service provider.

Work as one team and perform the operations & maintenance of fuel to the RAAF and other Defence stakeholders on base.

The Role

Lead by an Operations Supervisor, the following role will be based in the Katherine region, supporting a number of fuel installation sites.

Defence Fuel Installations Operator (DFI Operator)

• Reporting to the OA, an operator will be tasked with various operational and functional roles around the installation
• Responsible for the safe and compliant operation and management of the aviation and / or ground fuel installations
• Manage quality, compliance, quantity and availability of fuel and related systems and processes
• Ensure the technical integrity of the fuel, including management of quality control sampling and testing
• Experience in similar environment would be highly regarded; fuel or other high-risk / hazardous processing environments
