About the Role

Our industry partner, GA LECCA GROUP PTY LTD trading as PEPES PIZZERIA AND RESTAURANT, is currently seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join its energetic kitchen team. This hands-on role involves the preparation and cooking of a wide range of Italian-inspired dishes, including gourmet pizzas, classic pastas, and traditional mains—all crafted using high-quality, seasonal ingredients.

The successful candidate will work under the guidance of senior kitchen staff, ensuring that each dish upholds PEPES PIZZERIA AND RESTAURANT's commitment to authenticity, quality, and consistency. This is an exciting opportunity for a chef who takes pride in Italian cuisine and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative kitchen environment.

Location : Shop 1, 332A Camden Valley Way, Narellan NSW 2567

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items including pizzas, pastas, entrées, and seasonal specials
  • Ensure consistency and quality of all dishes during each service period
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to support timely and smooth food service
  • Assist in refining kitchen operations and supporting menu development
  • Follow stock control practices and assist in minimising food wastage
  • Adhere to food safety standards and HACCP procedures

Skills and Experience

  • 1–3 years’ experience in a commercial kitchen is essential
  • Experience in Italian or Mediterranean cuisine is highly regarded
  • Strong skills in pizza preparation, pasta cooking, and traditional Italian techniques
  • Ability to follow established recipes and deliver consistent, high-quality dishes
  • Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
  • Positive attitude, good communication skills, and a collaborative mindset
