We are looking for a Full-time Head Nurse who has strong communication and team building skills and previous experience leading and motivating a high functioning nursing team.

About your new role :

  • Full-time role managing a team of Vet Nurses and supporting busy Vets
  • Guiding and developing the Nurse team, building a positive team culture
  • Undertaking general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical care
  • Taking initiative to enhance clinic operations and efficiency
  • Collaborating with the veterinary team to ensure high standards of patient care
  • Handling client enquiries professionally in person, by email and over the phone
  • We are looking for a candidate who :

  • Holds a Cert IV qualification in Veterinary Nursing with minimum of 3+ years of experience
  • Experience coaching and mentoring Vet Nurses
  • Possesses strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
  • A calm and friendly presence
  • Great communication and customer service skills
  • Flexible and adaptable within a team environment
  • Knowledge of RX Works ideal but not essential
