Finance Director

Are you a dynamic finance professional from the Digital / Media industry looking for a new, challenging and rewarding role? My client is the digital development arm of a global marketing group and they are looking for a Finance Manager to partner with the CEO and lead the Finance function as the agency is entering an exciting period of growth and has reached the point where a strong finance professional is needed on the ground in Australia.

Spearheading financial management responsibilities, you will take a hands-on “best practice” approach and oversee all core financial BAU month end duties whilst being a financial 2IC to the CEO to drive organisational success and growth of the agency. This is an exciting business partnering role for a commercially savvy finance leader who wants a broad, hands-on role.

I need someone who can tick the below :

• Will full visibility and ownership of the P&L - manage all financial operations, including Cash Flow, Job Management, Reconciliations and invoicing duties.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting efforts, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Oversee the month-end close process, prepare monthly board reports, and manage statutory reporting and taxation.
• Implement cost reduction initiatives and enhance operational efficiency.
• Roll out improvements to systems, processes and procedures to enhance reporting and analysis capabilities.
• Assist the CEO with financial modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives and growth opportunities.

Required experience / skills :

• A qualified accountant (CPA or CA or equivalent) with a minimum of five years of post-qualification experience.
• Strong experience in a fast-paced, multinational environment within a digital agency or media / marketing driven commercial business.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and business partnering skills.
• A proactive, self-driven attitude with a strong commitment to process and business improvements.
• High-level technical expertise and an interest in digital solutions to enhance efficiencies.
