Staff Software Engineer - Ios

Synechron is looking for an experienced iOS Tech Lead to spearhead mobile application development for a major Big 4 Banking project in Sydney.

The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise in iOS development with leadership skills to guide teams, design secure solutions, and deliver high-quality mobile experiences in a regulated financial environment.

Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and deployment of iOS applications for enterprise banking solutions.

Architect scalable and secure mobile solutions aligned with business and regulatory requirements.

Drive adoption of best practices in Swift, Objective-C, and iOS frameworks .

Collaborate with product owners, UX / UI designers, and backend teams to deliver seamless user experiences.

Implement DevSecOps practices for mobile CI / CD pipelines.

Conduct security threat modelling and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Mentor and guide developers, perform code reviews, and enforce coding standards.

Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide innovative solutions.

Stay updated with the latest iOS technologies, tools, and industry trends.
