THE ROLEThe Team Leader leads a team of Housing Services Officers to provide a range of departmental housing services and meet the holistic needs of clients. The role operates within a dynamic environment. The Team Leader must have a capacity to understand the complexities of the organisational and area context, exercise sound judgement, deliver on outcomes and develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Assess client's needs and provide comprehensive advice on housing options from a range of established policy, procedures and standards.
- Make appropriate referrals to internal or external support service providers in order to assist clients with their short-term housing needs.
