Job descriptionEnjoy having variety in your day. Build positive relationships with clients and their families. Care about helping our aged community live independently at home for longer. Work independently, find solutions to everyday problems, and know when to ask your manager for help. A valid Australian driver’s licence and your own insured, roadworthy vehicle. Experience of 3 months or more in a similar role. General housekeeping and making beds. Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors. Washing, folding and ironing laundry. Meal preparation and grocery shopping. Assisting clients to get out of bed, shower, and dress. Supporting mobility and therapy goals. Providing complex care for clients with high needs such as dementia. Offering social and emotional support. Transporting clients to lifestyle activities or appointments.
