On behalf of our client, a trailblazer in control systems and electrical engineering, we’re excited to recruit a talented Senior Control Systems Engineer for an immediate start in Brisbane.

Our client is renowned for delivering intelligent, efficiency-driven automation solutions to leading players in the manufacturing industries. The Role

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Brisbane, offering a salary range of $150,000–$170,000 per year. As a Senior Control Systems Engineer, you’ll take a hands-on leadership role, working alongside management and a skilled engineering team to craft and implement automation solutions that elevate industry benchmarks.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and deploy advanced automation systems using PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA technologies.
  • Oversee projects from concept to completion, ensuring flawless delivery and team coordination.
  • Offer on-site expertise for commissioning, troubleshooting, and system optimization.
  • Create comprehensive technical documentation and project updates.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, industry, and client-specific standards.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.

What You’ll Bring

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a similar field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in control systems engineering.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, reliability, and documentation prowess.
  • Proven ability to lead projects and inspire teams.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • You MUST have either citizenship or a visa allowing you to work in the Brisbane region (no regional visas please).

    • Standout Skills

    These will give you an edge :

  • Expertise with Rockwell or Siemens PLC platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with HMI / SCADA systems like FactoryTalk View or PlantSCADA / CitectSCADA.
  • Knowledge of virtualization tools such as VMWare.
  • Exposure to manufacturing, water, or food sectors valued.
  • Registration with Engineers Australia.
