We currently have three full time, permanent positions available for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the bank as a Lending Enquiries Consultant in our Moe office. The Lending Enquiries Consultant is responsible for handling inbound customer enquiries.

  • What you will be doing
  • Inbound enquiries (phone, online, mail & fax) in accordance with Bank Australia's policies and procedures in a professional and efficient manner with an emphasis on delivering exceptional service
  • Participate in the Bank's quality assurance program to achieve quality, productivity and service targets
  • A willingness to learn about legislation governing lending and its impact on day-to-day loan processing
  • Participate in staff training and development as required.
  • What you will bring
  • Knowledge of banking products and services, or a willingness to learn
  • Knowledge of lending legislation (e.g. National Credit Act and Privacy Act), or a willingness to learn
  • Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills, verbal and written
  • Ability to identify customer needs through questioning techniques
  • Ability to investigate, problem solve and follow up queries
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Empathy for customer's financial circumstances
  • Computer literacy Commitment to Bank Australia's purpose, aspiration, values and brand as well as the B Corp ethos.
