About the Opportunity

We have a newly created Production Supervisor role to join our industry leading Trend Girraween plant. You will lead a skilled production workforce, focus will be on continual development and improvement of our safety culture; we live and breathe safety! Driving quality improvements ensuring customer satisfaction will also be one of your top priorities along with driving the LEAN and continuous improvement methodology, and implementation of strategies to improve production performances.

Key Responsibilities

• Improve engagement and culture through leadership, training and mentorship
• Lead production employees in ensuring performance levels are always maintained
• Maintain timely production schedules and communicate issues or delays
• Ensure daily high-quality production completion within agreed productivity benchmarks
• Root cause identification and elimination of causes of lost productivity
• Maintain a strong customer focus

About You

We’re looking to leverage your experience in people management in a manufacturing environment, along with managing and growing the capability of a medium size team of skilled production employees whilst maintaining high levels of employee engagement, as key deliverables of this role. You need to have an open and transparent communication style, including the ability to gain trust, you need to have the ability to connect with a range of people at different levels and the capacity to work well across all stakeholder groups to provide operational advice.
