Overview

Full time role – Monday – Friday; Competitive salary; Bonus Scheme + Benefits. Capral Aluminium is seeking a highly motivated and hands-on SAP ABAP Developer with solid knowledge of SAP Production Planning (PP) to join our SAP team. This is a hybrid role, combining technical ABAP development with functional expertise in PP, ensuring our solutions are aligned with real-world manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

Develop ABAP objects including reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms.
Support and extend PP processes such as MRP, production orders, routings, and shop floor execution.
Work closely with functional experts and business stakeholders to design and deliver end-to-end SAP solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues, applying both technical expertise and functional insight.
Contribute to continuous improvement and the optimum implementation of business processes.

Essential Criteria

Strong hands-on ABAP experience (reports, enhancements, IDOCs, BAPIs, forms).

Solid debugging and performance tuning skills.

Working knowledge of SAP PP processes and integration with MM, SD and WM.

A problem-solver who enjoys bridging technical and functional worlds.

Proactive, detail-oriented, and keen to learn new SAP technologies.

Energetic individual able to work both in a team and independently to achieve outcomes

Desirable

Completion of a tertiary qualification in a related discipline.

Manufacturing industry experience

Sound understanding of additional SAP functional areas
