We are currently seeking qualified and experienced 60-tonne Mobile Crane Operators to join our Operations Department – Crane Crew Division. The successful candidates will operate our 60t cranes across a range of lifting tasks, ensuring precision, safety, and compliance on every job.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate 60t mobile cranes safely and efficiently on various sites
- Perform pre-start inspections, routine maintenance checks, and safety verifications
- Work closely with riggers, dogmen, and site supervisors to execute lifts per plan
- Read and interpret load charts, lift plans, and site documentation
- Complete job safety analyses (JSA), lift studies, and hazard identification tasks
- Comply with WHS regulations, company policies, and site-specific procedures
- Ensure clear communication with team members using radios or hand signals
- Maintain accurate lift records and participate in toolbox meetings
Requirements
Current High-Risk Work Licence with CN, C6 or CO class (60t crane operation)Dogging (DG) and Basic Rigging (RB) licence preferredConstruction White CardMinimum 2 years experience operating mobile cranes (preferably 60t capacity)Experience working in mining, construction, or industrial environmentsStrong understanding of lifting procedures and WHS best practicesAbility to work autonomously or as part of a coordinated lifting crewValid Driver’s Licence – HR / HC preferredAbility to pass a pre-employment medical and regular drug & alcohol screeningBenefits
