Junior Release manager / Release Support Coordinator - release management, Agile - Federal Govt!

A leading Federal Government agency is seeking a Junior Release manager / Release Support Coordinator  to support the execution and coordination of enterprise release management processes across a broad range of technologies and platforms including Salesforce, MuleSoft, SAP, EDW, and more. The successful  Junior Release manager / Release Support Coordinator will secure an initial 12-month contract with a 12-month extension option and hybrid work arrangements available nationwide.

The successful  Junior Release manager / Release Support Coordinator will be responsible for, but not limited to :

• Assisting in the planning and coordination of release schedules across various ICT portfolios
• Supporting release readiness and Go / No-Go activities across projects and change initiatives
• Coordinating release content, deployment plans, run books, and release reporting
• Engaging with engineering and operations teams to manage code merges, testing, and compliance
• Participating in daily standups and supporting process improvements.

The successful  Junior Release manager / Release Support Coordinator will have experience in the following :

• At least 1 – 2 years’ experience in release management in an enterprise environment
• Familiarity with SDLC, DevOps, and CI / CD pipelines, with experience in JIRA and Confluence
• Strong communication, time management, and collaboration skills
• Understanding of governance processes, risk mitigation, and milestone planning
• Relevant tertiary qualifications and certifications such as SAFe Agile or Diploma of Project Management
