Solution Architect

Our local government client is seeking a Solution Architect to to lead the design and implementation of a number of key technical uplift initiatives, predominantly; Enterprise Booking System (venue and events bookings) and Point of Sales (POS) solution.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design end-to-end architecture for enterprise booking system and POS system, including front-end, back-end, and integration layers
• Define system components, data flows, and integration points with CRM, ERP, IAM, and payment platforms
• Translate business goals and consumer needs into end-to-end solution designs that are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
• Define architectural blueprints, interface specifications, integration patterns, and data flows.
• Develop comprehensive current and future state architecture documentation
• Ensure all solution designs are aligned to architecture and security standards

Key Skills :

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect in enterprise software preferably with some booking / reservation systems and POS systems experience
• Strong knowledge of cloud-based architecture (AWS, Azure or GCP) , APIs, microservices, DevOps practices, and modern web / mobile technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, a proactive approach and ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
