The Centre for Learning and Teaching
The Centre for Learning and Teaching (CLT) contributes to the leadership and implementation of strategic teaching and learning and change across the University through collaborative partnerships with Schools and Service Centres. CLT provisions professional learning for all teaching roles in the University to promote evidence‑based and scholarly practice. Additionally, CLT leads the implementation of learning technologies across the University, delivery of learning support programs for students, and active support of Schools to deliver best practice curriculum design and assessment.
About the Opportunity
The Centre for Learning and Teaching is seeking to build its academic development programs to support the implementation of Curriculum Transformation at ECU with two Lecturer, Academic Practice roles focusing on curriculum design and teaching practice. Working closely with the Manager, Academic Practice, as well as colleagues within the team and across CLT, the positions will lead the development and provision of professional learning focused on evidence‑informed, scholarly curriculum design and teaching practice, in the context of programmatic learning. The roles will also contribute to coordination and support of learning and teaching fellowships, awards, and scholarship, working within the current structures to develop and deliver systems, processes and support frameworks for these activities.
