Site Manager - 6 month contract

6-Month contract opportunity with a market leading Tier-2 contractor, located in Central Brisbane.


Are you a Site Manager with a background in leading commercial projects?
We are currently partnering with one of Brisbane's leading commercial contractors, who have been established for over 10 years. Our client is looking for am dedicated and experienced site manager to join an important project in an initial 6-month contract position, with an opportunity to become a permanent part of their team following this projects completion.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the delivery of the project within the desired time-frame.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of a sizeable site team.
• Reviewing progress throughout the project against both timescales and financial and contractual arrangements.
• Implement and maintain OH&S procedures, demonstrating leadership in risk management processes.
• Manage staff and labour costs to achieve maximum efficiency and high-performance.

About you:

• Must have demonstrated project management experience on commercial projects (in excess of $90m) for a tier one or two contractor.
• Confidence with managing a large team
• Live within a commutable distance of the project (Brisbane Centre).
• Valid driving license.
• Proven track record of financial management in terms of both tracking and reporting ongoing costs, cost reductions and working toward a budget.
• Experience with communication and relationship building between clients.

Benefits:

• The role offers an hourly rate of up to $75 - $90 p/h (experience dependent).
