About the Opportunities

We're looking for team members to join Akura as Precast Operators in our precast facility. Having experience in construction or a similar industry would be highly advantageous and opens the opportunity to come on board as a senior operator – i.e. if you are a trade qualified carpenter, cabinet-maker / builder, concreter, roofer or experienced steel fixer, or have a natural flair for detailed work such as carpentry, formwork or similar, we'd love to hear from you.

The opportunity to learn and grow on the job for those interested with less industry experience is also available, with on-site training and development.

We're a growing business with big plans for the future - we'll show you the ropes and give you opportunity to grow with us.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpreting shop drawings
• Marking out panels as per shop drawings
• Preparing timbers and foam to place inside panels
• Installing formwork on tables prior to concrete pours
• Preparing and installing reinforcement for each precast panel
• Pouring concrete / managing the concrete pour
• Finishing the concrete
