Our client is seeking a highly experienced
Design Manager with a background in mechanical or civil engineering, specifically within the mining sector. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role, with advanced proficiency in Bentley Suite (including Microsoft applications).

What you will do: - Manage and oversee all draftsmen across locations in Australia and India, focusing on non-process engineering aspects.
- Travel to India approximately six times per year to collaborate with our engineering partners and supervise draftsmen activities.
- Coordinate closely with the engineering team in India to ensure seamless project delivery and adherence to design standards.
- Work collaboratively with project stakeholders at our client's offices in Perth CBD
What you'll have - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (or related field).
- Extensive experience managing teams, specifically in cross-cultural settings with teams located in Asia (India, China, etc.).
- Advanced proficiency in Bentley Suite software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Proven track record in the mining industry, with a strong understanding of mining engineering principles and standards.
