Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and deliver high‑quality consumer‑focused, individually tailored, clinical rehabilitation services to support the recovery process for young people (14‑24) with mental health challenges.
- Work within a partnerships model that promotes collaborative relationships with other government and non‑government organisations, educational and vocational agencies, and the youth sector.
- Collaborate closely with mental health clinicians across adult, child and adolescent service settings to facilitate seamless care.
- Facilitate capacity building for rehabilitation services to work effectively with youth and their families.
Qualifications & Experience
Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, or Registered Nurse with current full registration with the relevant board (AHPRA, Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, Psychology Board of Australia).Demonstrated competency in mental health rehabilitation, including planning, implementing and evaluating individual and group clinical rehabilitation interventions.Commitment to consumer participation and a strengths‑based, recovery‑focused approach to service provision.Knowledge of and sensitivity to the mental health and developmental needs of young people (14‑24 years) and their families.Ability to develop partnerships and community linkages to build capacity within mental health services for young people with mental illness.Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.Proficient computer skills (MS Office and relevant health databases).Current, unrestricted NSW Driver’s licence.Benefits
