About the Role:
As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of electrical equipment supporting the manufacturing process. The role may transition to a rotating shift structure.

Shift Pattern:

• This role operates on a 12-hour shift, Monday to Friday.
• The roster alternates weekly between:
• 3 days week one (Mon-Wed)
• 4 days week two (Mon-Thurs)

Your responsibilities will include:

• Proactively demonstrate a personal commitment to safety and our PROTECT safety culture
• Complete job specific permits, identify hazards, and implement control measures
• Efficient and effective fault finding to diagnose and repair plant outages
• Prioritise jobs to achieve high plant availability in coordination with maintenance and production supervisors
• Complete quality assurance testing and recording
• Report all injuries, incidents, hazards, and near misses
• Develop and maintain positive work relationships within the team
• Support and mentor apprentices

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills/ experience:

• Current “A” Grade electrical licence
• Appropriate trade certification
• Previous experience in a manufacturing and/or industrial environment
• Process control instrumentation and calibration experience
• Sound understanding/experience working with PLC's (Siemens, Allen Bradley)
• Use of maintenance systems e.g. MEX
• Forklift licence
