Job descriptionBenefits Work with a Local Council dedicated to community enhancement 2-month assignment with potential for extension Locations include Arana Hills, Burpengary, Bribie Island, Caboolture, Deception Bay, Petrie. Competitive hourly rate : $32.03 per hour + super Opportunity to contribute to meaningful community projects Responsibilities & Outcomes Perform gardening, construction and maintenance tasks as directed Support delivery of high-level service across the Asset Maintenance department Maintain and safely dispose of materials and waste Use and maintain provided plant equipment and personal protective equipment correctly About You Effective communication skills and ability to work within diverse teams Demonstrated ability to follow safety procedures and use equipment correctly Parks positions Previous experience in parks & horticulture MR licences required Operations positions White card / Construction card required Experience in asset maintenance and construction Current MR class driver's licence essential Asphalt or Civil experience (desired, not required for all positions) Roller experience (desired, not required for all positions) Confined space ticket (desired, not required for all positions) Experience using vacuum trucks and pressure waters
