Are you an experienced healthcare leader passionate about delivering outstanding patient care? We're looking for a motivated and compassionate Clinical Manager to lead the day-to-day running of our multidisciplinary oncology & haematology team at our Cancer Care Westside Centre.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
- Oversee daily administration functions, including patient scheduling, billing, records management, and correspondence.
- Drive continuous improvement in service delivery and clinical governance, keeping patient experience at the centre of everything we do.
- Manage staffing and resources effectively to support smooth workflows, high productivity, and clinical excellence.
- Build and nurture a high-performance, collaborative team culture focused on compassion and patient‑centric care.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal clinicians and external referrers.
What You Bring
Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).Relevant postgraduate qualifications with at least 12 months’ experience in medical oncology and / or haematology, or a minimum of four years post‑registration experience, including at least three years in a specialist or leadership role.Demonstrated understanding of medical billing processes, including Medicare, DVA, and private health insurance.Proficiency in using healthcare management systems (e.g., Episoft) and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to lead and support a multidisciplinary team, fostering a positive, high‑performing, and patient‑focused culture.Experience working with both internal and external stakeholders, building trusted relationships to support service delivery.A proactive approach to problem‑solving, service improvement, and maintaining high standards of care and efficiency.What We Offer
