Join us and make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors.Juniper Hillcrest in Geraldton is currently seeking an experienced Domestic Caterer (Kitchen Hand) to join the team on a permanent part-time basis.This role consists of 36 hours per fortnight, working shift times of 1600-1930.Key Responsibilities : Preparing and presenting meals.Providing kitchen hand services at our facility, including food preparation, modifying food texture, accurately apportioning food, serving food to residents, and maintaining a welcoming café atmosphere.Cleaning cooking areas and equipment to a high standard.Applying safe food handling practices and adhering to Juniper's policies and procedures relating to Occupational Safety and Health.Key Requirements : Must have valid work rights in Australia.Experience in a commercial cooking environment or aged care catering.Knowledge of safe food handling practices and hygiene standards, including expertise in maintaining cleanliness and safety.Demonstrating good written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with residents, customers, and team members.Knowledge of relevant chemicals and safe handling practices and procedures.What’s on Offer : Hourly rate : $28.62 plus 11.5% super.Non-profit values-driven Western Australian aged care provider.All employees have access to Juniperks, an online platform that unlocks exclusive retail discounts, employee perks, wellness initiatives, and peer acknowledgment.Salary packaging up to $18,550 per annum tax-free.Health insurance discounts.Employee Assistance Program with free counseling.Free parking on site.How to Apply : Don’t miss this opportunity to join a supportive team in a rewarding role!
