Exercise Rider

Ciaron Maher Racing are seeking an exercise rider to assist with riding our horses at our farm property in Fingal.

You will be required to ride about 7-11 horses per day in slow work, through open, rolling hill farmland. No galloping is required. No specific 'track work' experience required.

Must be a competent and confident rider. Would be a perfect opportunity for eventers or adult riders and pony clubbers.

Hours of the role are Monday - Saturday 7am-1.30pm approximately, 2x afternoon's per week 3.30pm-5pm approximately and 1x Sunday per month 8am-11am & 3.30pm-5pm approximately.

Some ground duties will be required on a daily basis as well. These will include :

• Feeding
• Rugging
• Loading / unloading horse trucks
• Assisting farriers & vets
• Sweeping the yard areas

Our Fingal stable is a small (approximately 25 horses currently) but dynamic environment, where our horses get to experience a country and relaxed atmosphere as part of their training. If you enjoy the outdoors, with a laidback country feel, please get in touch today!
