Port Augusta Hospital and Regional Health Service
The Port Augusta Hospital and Regional Health Service is a large regional hospital that provides a wide range of services including emergency, general and surgical, maternity, outpatient, and outreach services. The hospital has 58 beds including flex and monitored beds. The Port Augusta Hospital also has chemotherapy services and has a Renal Dialysis Unit and a Paediatric Department, both of which are the largest outside of Adelaide. About the Role :
The Registered Nurse plays a key role in delivering high-quality nursing and / or midwifery services across a variety of health service settings. At this level, employees progress from novice to proficient practitioners, consolidating their knowledge, skills, and capability through ongoing professional development and experience. They are accountable for maintaining high standards of care in their own practice while also overseeing activities delegated to others, ensuring safe, effective, and person-centred care for patients.
