ROSTER : 7 : 7 Day Shift Only – 12hrs (Residential only)

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Store Person for the Mobile Maintenance, you will be responsible for the operation of the parts and tool stores, in a safe and efficient manner. Other duties include collecting parts from Paddington and local suppliers as required. Ensuring compliance with all relevant statutory requirements and health and safety regulations.

  • Knowledge of Purchase Orders and such.
  • Regular inspections of the work area to identify hazards, damage and defects.
  • Weekly inspection of tooling to ensure compliance to health and safety regulations e.g. rigging inspections and all tagging up to date.
  • Assist with completing planned maintenance and servicing.
  • Assisting with repairs of the HME fleet, where required.
  • Regular inspections of tools and equipment, ensuring good working order.
  • Responsible management of parts allocation to Work Orders.
  • Continuously review work tasks and jobs to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Communicate actively and openly with the direct supervisor.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • At least 12 months of previous experience as a mobile store person in the mining industry. (Essential)
  • Current, unrestricted Western Australian Class “HR” Driver’s Licence. (Essential)
