The Client is seeking an experienced Electrical / Senior Engineer to play a key role in the commissioning phase of the SKA‑Low Project, the world’s largest radio telescope, located in remote South Murchison, WA.

This is a hands‑on, FIFO opportunity to work alongside international experts and multidisciplinary teams, contributing directly to the successful delivery of a project that is shaping the future of astronomy.

Electrical / Senior Engineer – FIFO (Commissioning) SKA‑Low Project | South Murchison, WA

$700–$800 per day | 2 : 1 Roster | Immediate Start

About the Role

Reporting to the Commissioning Manager , you will oversee the commissioning of the power plant and high‑voltage (11kV) network that supplies power to the telescope infrastructure. The project is in its final stages, with commissioning underway and completion expected by end of May 2026 .

This is a hands‑on FIFO role , ideal for someone who enjoys working on site, supporting multiple teams, and contributing to successful project close‑out.

Key Details

• Location : South Murchison, WA (approx. 400km from Geraldton)
• Roster : 2 weeks on / 1 week off
• Hours : 6am–6pm (12‑hour days)
• Contract : ASAP start to 30 May 2026
• Pay Rate : $700–$800 per day (max)
• Accommodation & Meals : Provided (24 / 7 camp)
• LAHA : $150 per night
• Flights : FIFO from Geraldton or Jandakot (paid by Client)
