Position : Housekeeping Team Leader

This part-time role is responsible for supervising the housekeeping team and ensuring all rooms and common areas are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the housekeeping team to ensure high standards of service and cleanliness are consistently met
• Lead and train all new team members
• Clean rooms, cabins, and communal areas in line with health and safety regulations and guest expectations
• Transport linen, towels, cleaning supplies, and waste materials as required
• Replenish supplies in rooms and common areas
• Disinfect equipment and maintain cleanliness of storage areas
• Report maintenance issues, damages, and lost property to the Site Manager
• Perform detailed cleaning tasks, including dusting, polishing, sweeping, mopping, and window cleaning
• Conduct regular room inspections and audits to ensure quality standards
• Provide guidance, coaching, and feedback to housekeeping staff
• Promote effective communication and teamwork within the department
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety policies and procedures
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
