The PositionReporting to the Field Regional Service & Support Manager, you will join our Technical Services & Support Division for the APAC region, supporting multiple countries across Asia Pacific.

The role primarily supports WA-based projects but may include interstate / international assignments.

Your main focus will be on-site service support for clients, including product installation and maintenance.

The roster pattern varies and may include M-F, 7 / 7, or 8 / 6 shifts, with assignments potentially being FIFO or DIDO, and international rosters depending on project needs.

Key Responsibilities

Operational : Ensure Hexagon Mining solutions operate effectively at client sites, delivering tangible value.

Customer Service : Provide training, instructions, and advice on the use of Hexagon Mining technology.

Technical : Repair, install, configure, and support electronic and microprocessor-based systems, including troubleshooting on-site and at HxGN premises.

Qualifications and skills include :

Required

Trade certificate or equivalent in Auto Electrician, Electronics, Industrial Electronics, Instrumentation, or Communications

Experience in electronics, radio, television, automotive, mining, or similar industries

Experience in on-site installation, system configuration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair

Manual car driver's license

Australian working rights : Permanent Resident or Citizen

Ability to work independently and within a team, with strong interpersonal skills

Customer-centric, solution-focused, adaptable, and agile problem solver

Desirable

Experience troubleshooting electronics systems and repairs

Exposure to CAS or FMS system installation in mining equipment

Experience installing hardware in surface mining equipment or heavy industry

Basic LAN / WAN knowledge and Linux OS CLI familiarity

Good computing skills, firmware / software management, troubleshooting, and email proficiency
