Role Overview This role operates within the SEA2273 Sub-Program of the Warfighting Networks and Applications Support Organisation (WSO), ICT Delivery Division, Chief Information Officer Group, Department of Defence.
Responsibilities Design, build, deploy, and support complex network solutions. Complete and review all associated network documentation. Create and maintain network reference architectures to support solutions development. Provide network SME advice to customers and stakeholders to facilitate project definition, system architecture, and process improvements. Identify innovative service improvements to add value to network solutions. Provide leadership, training, and support to customer and project personnel. Requirements Experience in Defence as a Senior Network / Gateway engineer. Experience implementing large-scale, geographically dispersed networks with security considerations, including switching, routing, firewalls, access controls, and load balancing. Strong knowledge of industry-standard frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and ability to apply them to architecture and solution design, including testing and evaluation procedures.
