  • About the centre
  • The Inner West YMCA operates three community centres in the Footscray, Braybrook, and Moonee Valley areas. These centres offer a variety of programs and services for people of all ages and abilities, including :

  • Multi-sports stadiums
  • Health clubs
  • Community halls
  • Rooms
  • Gymnastics facilities

  • About the role
  • Join our team as a Customer Service Officer and deliver exceptional service to our members and patrons at RecWest Footscray, RecWest Braybrook, and Moonee Valley Gymnastics. You'll play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, greeting and assisting customers with a focus on excellent service. Here is what the role involves :

  • Customer-focused role : Be at the forefront of providing excellent service, creating a friendly environment for our customers.
  • Sales and promotion : Promote memberships and programs, providing sales solutions to customers. Conduct centre tours for prospective members.
  • Passion for health and wellness : Align your role with your passion for health, wellness, and sports, making a difference in customers' lives.
  • This role is being offered as either Part-Time or Casual, with an hourly rate of $23.55 (+25% casual loading) + Super.

  • We're seeking an energetic individual with a customer-centric mindset. If you enjoy creating memorable experiences and providing outstanding service, we want to hear from you. Qualifications and qualities we value include :

  • Strong interpersonal skills, building rapport with customers.
  • Proactive problem-solving and a positive attitude.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred but not essential.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Qualifications & Experience
  • First Aid certificate
  • CPR certificate
  • Working with Children Card (employee check)
