About the role

Reporting to the Senior Student Support Officer, you'll undertake various administrative and student support functions in the delivery of the Institute's Higher Education courses and services, including :

  • Updating student information and publications as required.
  • Managing, updating and monitoring the HELP system and student records, updating records, writing and updating student resources and information on HELP, responding to general student queries, technical and administrative support to staff and students.
  • Inputting data for higher education student records and FEE-HELP reporting.
  • General higher education administration including maintaining electronic and hard copy student records and RPL / Credit Transfer database, student information and log ins, managing student management systems, maintaining regular contact with students, administering graduation documentation, issuing surveys to students, collating and reporting survey results.
  • Writing correspondence and responding to student queries within required timeframes.
  • Maintaining higher education administrative and reporting processes as needed.
  • Communicating and liaising with higher education, administrative, finance, branch and IT staff in the performance of these duties.

About you

You'll have a Diploma level qualification or sufficient experience equivalent to a Diploma qualification along with relevant work experience in a Student Support role or similar.

In addition, you'll have :

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail in an administrative environment.
  • Experience working in the education sector an advantage.
